Meet Jalina Smith - a longtime resident of Brazoria County with a passion for connecting Buyers and Sellers. Jalina started her real estate career after graduating from high school in 1993 working in property management, attending Spencer School of Real Estate, and obtaining her license in 1994. Jalina prides herself on integrity, energy, and hard work, and creates service in every detail of your real estate transaction. She understands what it is like to stand in her clients' shoes. Relocating several times - buying and selling houses of her own - has afforded Jalina sensitivity towards her clients' journey, which can be attributed to the first-hand perspective she gained through her personal experience. Having raised her two beautiful girls, who are all grown up, she now enjoys her grandson and granddaughter in her down time and enjoys traveling. She is experienced in residential, commercial, land, lots, and property management. She's passionate, diligent, and very responsive. I am the Broker and owner of Provenzano Properties. I grew up in West Columbia, TX where I have family ties to Brazoria County that date back prior to 1904. I studied History and Education at Southwestern University, and the University of Houston Clear Lake. I came back to my home town where I taught History for 9 years and served as Senior sponsor for 6 years at Columbia Christian School. I acquired my real estate license in 2001 at which time I began working with, and learning from my Aunt who had been in the business, specializing in land and farm for 38 years. I went on to earn my Broker's license in 2004, and established my own Brokerage, Provenzano Properties. Eventually, I decided to open an office in Lake Jackson in 2011. I now have two offices to better serve our customers and clients. I have also opened a Property Management Division with advanced integrated technology programs to provide the landlords with incomparable service and access.

I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and Houston Association of Realtors. I served as President of the Brazoria County Board of Realtors for 2 years. I have been a member of Columbia United Methodist Church for 30 years.

I love people, and enjoy helping customers and clients find a home. I always put forth my best efforts to make their real estate needs and concerns a priority so that I can understand what is important to them while looking for a home, whether it be proximity to schools, church, or work, or living in the country vs the city.

I am very dedicated to the men and women who serve in the military, and their families. They have chosen to protect our land and our freedom at any cost. This is why I have founded our Patriot Program. We support Military Moms and Wives of Brazoria County by giving back to those who serve with a donation at every closing. This organization reminds these brave heroes overseas that they are appreciated, loved and not forgotten by sending packages with toiletries, goodies, phone cards, and other much needed items from their homeland.

I have a great team of agents and we all strive to stay updated and on top of the market so that we offer the best to those people who have hired Provenzano Properties to market their home, or find them the home of their dreams. Our goal is to find our Buyers that special home, and facilitate the closing process without complications, and as stress free as possible. I enjoy helping helping others, professionally and personally, so I take great joy in knowing I helped a couple, family, or individual achieve the American dream…to own home or piece of land.
